A close up portrait of an eastern yellow robin (Eopsaltria australis) at Lamington National Park.
The eastern yellow robin is approximately 15cm to 16cm (6 in.) in length and is an Australasian robin that habitats along the east coast of Australia.
I encountered this eastern yellow robin that was peacefully perched on a fence paling, while I was on a bushwalk in Lamington National Park, while staying at O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat.
This little robin wasn’t at all disturbed by the close proximity of my presence and allowed me to capture the wonderful detail in its golden feathers.
